E-Moxclav 457 mg / 5 ml, 70 ml Composition: • Amoxicillin - 400 mg / 5 ml • Clavulanic acid - 57 mg / 5 ml • Release form: Powder for preparation of suspension for oral administration Pharmacological properties: • Amoxicillin is a semi-synthetic penicillin, active against a wide range of bacteria • Clavulanic acid is a beta-lactamase inhibitor, protects amoxicillin from destruction • The combination is effective against strains resistant to conventional penicillins Indications for use: The drug is used to treat infections caused by sensitive bacteria: • Respiratory tract infections (pharyngitis, tonsillitis, sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia) • Urinary tract infections • Skin and soft tissue infections • Otitis • Bone and joint infections • Infections Gastrointestinal tract Method of administration and dosage: The dosage may vary depending on the severity of the infection, age and weight of the patient. • Children under 3 months: 30 mg/kg/day. • Children over 3 months and weighing less than 40 kg: 45 mg/kg/day. • Children weighing ≥40 kg and adults: 875 mg amoxicillin and 125 mg clavulanate every 12 hours. • Course — from 5 to 10 days
