Livial tablets contain the active ingredient tibolone, which is a synthetic steroid medicine used for hormone replacement therapy (HRT). It mimics the activity of the female sex hormones in the body. Tibolone has favorable effects on different organs in the body, such as the brain, vagina and bone. Livial is used in postmenopausal women at least 12 months after their last natural period.
