When applied to the skin, protection against mosquitoes and other insects for more than 4 hours! An effective active ingredient based on DEET. DETA is the generic name for N,N-diethyl-m-toluamide. DEET acts on neurons and receptors located on mosquito antennae that detect chemicals such as lactic acid and carbon dioxide. In addition, it is also effective against the bites of flies and midges. When properly applied, DEET forms a vapor barrier on the surface of the skin that keeps mosquitoes away from the skin. Repellent Off! will allow you to enjoy all kinds of outdoor activities with reliable protection against mosquitoes for more than 4 hours. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water after using repellent. FIRST AID: Eye contact: Hold eyes open and rinse slowly and carefully with water for 15-20 minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present, after the first 5 minutes, then continue rinsing eyes. Consult your doctor for treatment advice. If swallowed: Seek medical advice immediately for treatment advice. Ask the person to drink a glass of water if they can swallow. Do not induce vomiting unless your doctor tells you to. Do not give anything to an unconscious person.
