Properties:
Thiemonium is an antispasmodic agent that has the following effects:
Anticholinergic (1/50 of the effect of atropine at an identical molar concentration).
Indications:
Symptomatic treatment of acute pain associated with functional disorders of the digestive tract and biliary system.
Treatment of spasm and pain in the urinary tract and gynecological diseases.
Symptomatic treatment of renal colic.

Adults:
1-3 tablespoons per day.
Children:
3 teaspoons a day.
Contraindications:
Urethroprostatic disorders associated with the risk of urinary retention.
Risk of angle-closure glaucoma.
Side effects:
Symptoms: the appearance of an atropine-like effect: dry mouth, constipation, tachycardia and confusion in elderly patients.
Treatment: symptomatic treatment in the intensive care unit.
