Tradename: Colon Composition: Each tablet contains: Sulpiride 25 mg Mebeverine hydrochloride 100 mg Properties: Mebeverine hydrochloride: Pharmacological action – spasmolytic, myotropic. Blocks fast sodium channels of the myocyte cell membrane and disrupts the entry of Na + ions into the cell, blocks the entry of Ca2 + ions through slow channels, slows down the processes of membrane depolarization and prevents muscle fiber contraction. Directly relaxes smooth muscles, mainly the gastrointestinal tract. Eliminates spasm, does not significantly affect the normal internal motility. Has no anticholinergic effect. The column contains sulpiride, which is a selective central blocker of dopamine D2 receptors. It has a mood-improving effect (due to its neuroleptic effect) and antiemetic effect.
