Each gram of cream contains 5% acyclovir as the active ingredient.
Auxiliary ingredients include moisturizing agents, stabilizers, and emollients for adhesion and smooth application.
Active Ingredient:

Properties:
A topical antiviral applied directly to the skin. It inhibits the activity of the viral polymerase enzyme, which inhibits the replication of the herpes virus within infected cells, speeds healing, and alleviates symptoms.
Indications:
- Treatment of skin ulcers caused by the herpes simplex virus
- Treatment of cold sores around the lips (herpes labialis)
- Can be used for localized herpes infections of the skin or mucous membranes, as directed by a physician
Directions and Dosage:
- Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected area five times daily, approximately every four hours during the day.
- Continue application for 5 to 10 days depending on the response of the patient.
- It is preferable to start treatment immediately upon the appearance of the first symptoms, such as tingling or itching.
Contraindications and Precautions:
- Do not use if you have a known allergy to acyclovir or any of the cream's ingredients.
- Avoid contact with the eyes or mucous membranes.
- Use with caution in immunocompromised patients.
- Use during pregnancy and breastfeeding only if the physician determines that the benefit outweighs the risk.
Possible Side Effects:
- Local redness or irritation.
- Mild burning or tingling sensation. Temporary at the application site
- Mild peeling or dryness of the skin
- Itching
- Rarely, allergic skin reactions may occur
