Remeron 30 mg 10 tablets Composition: Active ingredient: Mirtazapine 30 mg Pharmacological properties: Mirtazapine is a tetracyclic antidepressant with the following effects: 1. Antidepressant effect: • Blocks α2-adrenergic receptors and enhances the transmission of serotonin and norepinephrine • Increases the activity of 5-HT1 receptors and reduces the stimulation of 5-HT2 and 5-HT3 2. Anxiolytic and sedative effect: • Has a pronounced sedative effect, especially in the initial stages of therapy • Reduces anxiety, improves sleep 3. Appetite and body weight: • May cause increased appetite and weight gain Indications for use: • Major depressive disorder (MDD) • Anxiety disorders • Insomnia due to depression • PTSD, generalized anxiety disorder (as prescribed by a doctor) Method of administration and dosage: Usual initial dose: • 15 mg 1 time per day, usually in the evening Maintenance and therapeutic dose: • From 15 to 45 mg per day • In the case of 30 mg tablets - it is possible to use 1 tablet/day (as prescribed by a doctor)
