Nevilob Nevilob Composition: Each tablet contains: Nebivolol (as hydrochloride) 5 mg Auxiliary components: Lactose monohydrate, starch, microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, magnesium stearate, polysorbate. Properties: Cardioselective beta1-blocker. Nebivolol has hypotensive, antianginal and antiarrhythmic effects. Reduces high blood pressure at rest, during physical exertion and stress. Competitively and selectively blocks postsynaptic β1-adrenergic receptors, making them inaccessible to catecholamines, modulates the release of endothelial vasodilating factor nitric oxide (NO). Indications: -arterial hypertension; -IHD: prevention of angina attacks; – chronic heart failure (as part of combination therapy). Method of administration and dosage: The drug is taken orally, 1 time / day, preferably at the same time, regardless of food intake, with a sufficient amount of liquid. For the treatment of arterial hypertension and ischemic heart disease, the average daily dose is 2.5-5 mg of the drug. Nevilob can be used as monotherapy or in combination with other drugs that lower blood pressure. Contraindications: – acute heart failure; – chronic heart failure in the stage of decompensation; – severe arterial hypotension; -SSSU, including sinoatrial blockade; -AV blockade II and III degree; -severe bradycardia (heart rate less than 50 beats / min.); -cardiogenic shock; -pheochromocytoma; -metabolic acidosis; -severe liver dysfunction; -severe forms of bronchial asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD); -severe obliterating peripheral vascular disease (intermittent claudication, Raynaud’s syndrome); -myasthenia gravis; -depression; – age up to 18 years (efficacy and safety in this age group have not been studied); – simultaneous reception with floktaphenin, sultopride; – hypersensitivity to the active substance or one of the components of the drug. Precautionary measures: Cancellation of beta-blockers should be carried out gradually, over 10 days (up to 2 weeks in patients with coronary artery disease). Control of blood pressure and heart rate at the beginning of taking the drug should be daily. In elderly patients, it is necessary to monitor kidney function (once every 4-5 months). With angina pectoris, the dose of the drug should provide a resting heart rate in the range of 55-60 beats / min, with a load – no more than 110 beats / min. Side effects: From the nervous system: often – headache, dizziness, fatigue, weakness, paresthesia; From the gastrointestinal tract: often – dryness of the oral mucosa, nausea, constipation, diarrhea; From the respiratory system: often – shortness of breath; infrequently – bronchospasm, rhinitis.
