Trade Name: Sinopril 10 mg 30 tablets Description: Angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitor used in the treatment of chronic hypertension, acute coronary syndrome, heart failure with reduced ejection fraction and proteinuric chronic kidney disease. Active Ingredients: Lisinopril Each Sinopril 10 mg tablet contains: Lisinopril dihydrate 10.89 mg Equivalent to 10 mg Lisinopril anhydrous Excipients: Mannitol 300 DC, dibasic calcium phosphate anhydrous, maize starch, croscarmellose sodium, pregelatinized starch, magnesium stearate. Properties: ACE inhibitor, reduces the formation of angiotensin II from angiotensin I. Reduces total peripheral vascular resistance, blood pressure (BP), preload, pressure in the pulmonary capillaries, causes an increase in minute blood volume and an increase in myocardial tolerance to stress in patients with chronic heart failure. Indication: This Medicine is indicated for Hypertension. to treat heart failure if you have recently had a heart attack (myocardial infarction) to treat kidney problems in diabetic patients with high blood pressure Prescribed for the treatment of hypertension (in monotherapy and in combination with other antihypertensive drugs). Used to treat chronic heart failure (as part of combination therapy to treat patients taking digitalis and/or diuretics). Used in the early treatment of acute myocardial infarction Directions for use and dosage: Sinopril is prescribed at an initial dose of 10 mg 1 time per day; if the effect is insufficient, the dose is increased to 20-40 mg (rarely – up to 80 mg). For chronic heart failure, an initial dose of 2.5 mg is prescribed. maintenance dose – 5-20 mg. The average therapeutic dose of the drug is 20 mg. The maximum dose of the drug is 80 mg per day. For patients with hypertension, the initial dose is 10 mg. For renovascular hypertension or other conditions with increased activity of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, it is also advisable to prescribe a low initial dose of 2.5-5 mg/day. Contraindications: – Severe renal and liver dysfunction – Angioedema in anemnesis. – Hereditary Quincke’s edema. – Second and third trimester of pregnancy. – Hypersensitivity to lisinopril and other ACE inhibitors. – Children under 18 years of age. -Lisinopril is not recommended for children under 6 years or in any children with severe kidney problems. Precautionary measures: The use of lisinopril during pregnancy is contraindicated. If pregnancy is established, the drug should be stopped as soon as possible. Taking ACE inhibitors in the second and third trimester of pregnancy has an adverse effect on the fetus (a marked decrease in blood pressure, renal failure, hyperkalemia, cranial hypoplasia, and intrauterine death are possible). There is no data on the negative effects of the drug on the fetus when used during the first trimester. During treatment with the drug, breastfeeding should be discontinued.
