Tebofortin forte 80 mg 30 tablets
Available at Pharmaegy Pharmacy. Use as directed by your doctor.
Trade name: Tebofortin forte (Tebofortin) Compound: Each tablet contains: Dry extract of Ginkgo Biloba leaves 80 mg Corresponds to 21.6-26.4% ginkgo flavone glycoside and 5.4-6.6% terpene lactones (ginkgolides, bilobalide). Auxiliary components: Lactose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, starch, methyl cellulose hydroxide, titanium dioxide, talc. Properties: The drug of plant origin, normalizes metabolism in cells, rheological properties of blood and microcirculation. It improves cerebral circulation and the supply of oxygen and glucose to the brain, prevents erythrocyte aggregation, and inhibits platelet activating factor. It has a dose-dependent regulatory effect on the vascular system, stimulates the production of an endothelial-dependent relaxing factor, dilates small arteries, increases the tone of the veins, thereby regulating the blood supply to the vessels. Reduces the permeability of the vascular wall (anti-edematous effect – both at the level of the brain and at the periphery). It has an antithrombotic effect (due to the stabilization of the membranes of platelets and erythrocytes, the effect on the synthesis of Pg, the reduction of the action of biologically active substances and the platelet activating factor). Prevents the formation of free radicals and lipid peroxidation of cell membranes. Normalizes the release, re-absorption and catabolism of neurotransmitters (norepinephrine, dopamine, acetylcholine) and their ability to connect to receptors. Prevents an increase in fibrinolytic activity of the blood. It has an antihypoxic effect, improves metabolism in organs and tissues, promotes the accumulation of macroergs in cells, increases the utilization of oxygen and glucose, and normalizes mediator processes in the central nervous system. Indications: Dyscirculatory encephalopathy (stroke, traumatic brain injury, old age), manifested by the following symptoms: – decrease in attention; – weakening of memory; – decrease in intellectual abilities; -feeling of fear; – sleep disorders; – violations of peripheral blood circulation and microcirculation (including arteriopathy of the lower extremities); – Raynaud’s syndrome; – neurosensory disorders (dizziness, tinnitus, hypoacusia); -senile macular degeneration; – diabetic retinopathy. Dosage and administration: Inside, drinking a small amount of water, regardless of the meal. If a different dosage regimen is not prescribed by the doctor, the following recommendations should be followed when taking the drug: For symptomatic treatment of cerebrovascular disorders: Dosage 40 mg: 1-2 capsules 3 times / day. Dosage 80 mg: 1 capsule 2 times / day. The duration of the course of treatment is at least 8 weeks. For disorders of the peripheral circulation: Dosage 40 mg: 1 capsule 3 times / day or 2 capsules 2 times / day. Dosage 80 mg: 1 capsule 2 times / day. The duration of the course of treatment is at least 6 weeks. With vascular or involutional pathology: Dosage 40 mg: 1 capsule 3 times / day or 2 capsules 2 times / day. Dosage 80 mg: 1 capsule 2 times / day. The duration of the course of treatment is 6-8 weeks. If a dose of the drug was missed or an insufficient amount was taken, its subsequent intake should be carried out as indicated in the instructions, without any changes. Contraindications: – hypersensitivity; -hypocoagulation; – acute disorders of cerebral circulation; – acute myocardial infarction; – peptic ulcer of the stomach and duodenum; – erosive gastritis; – arterial hypotension; -pregnancy; – lactation period; – age up to 18 years; -sucrase-isomaltase deficiency, fructose intolerance, glucose-galactose malabsorption. Precautionary measures: Given the possibility of developing side effects from the central nervous system, care should be taken when driving vehicles and other technical devices that require increased concentration of attention and speed of psychomotor reactions. Side effects: Allergic reactions: redness, swelling of the skin, itching. From the digestive system: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. From the nervous system: headache, dizziness. Other: hearing impairment, decreased blood clotting. Storage method: Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 degrees. Package: Cardboard box contains 3 blisters of 10 tablets, paper instructions.
