Tradename: Verserk Verserc Composition: Each tablet contains: betahistinedihydrochloride 8 mg or 16 mg or 24 mg. Properties: Betahistine acts mainly on the histamine HI and H3 receptors of the inner ear and the vestibular nuclei of the central nervous system. It improves microcirculation and capillary permeability by direct agonistic effect on the HI receptors of the inner ear vessels, and also indirectly through the effect on H3 receptors, and normalizes endolymph pressure in the labyrinth and cochlea. However, betahistine increases blood flow in the basilar artery. It has a pronounced central effect, being an inhibitor of the H3 receptors of the vestibular nerve nuclei. Improves the conductivity in the neurons of the vestibular nuclei at the level of the brain stem. The clinical manifestation of these properti a decrease in the frequency and intensity of vertigo, a decrease in tinnitus, and an improvement in hearing in case of hearing loss. Indications: -treatment and prevention of vestibular dizziness of various origins; -Syndromes including dizziness and headache, tinnitus, progressive hearing loss, nausea and vomiting; – disease or Meniere’s syndrome. Method of administration and dosage: Inside, during meals. Tablets 8 mg: 1-2 tab. 3 times / day Tablets 16 mg: 1 / 2-1 tab. 3 times / day Tablets 24 mg: 1 tab. 2 times / day Improvement is usually seen early in therapy. A stable therapeutic effect occurs after two weeks of treatment and can increase over several months of treatment. Long-term treatment. The duration of taking the drug is selected individually. -children under 18 (due to lack of data); hypersensitivity to any component of the drug. With caution: gastrointestinal ulcer disease (including history), pheochromocytoma, bronchial asthma. These patients should be monitored regularly during treatment. Precautions: Influence on the ability to drive vehicles and control mechanisms: Betahistine does not have a sedative effect and does not affect the ability to drive a car or engage in activities that require the speed of psychomotor reactions. Side effects: Gastrointestinal disorders, the appearance of hypersensitivity reactions from the skin (rash, itching, urticaria), Quincke’sedema Storage method: At a temperature not higher than 30 degrees.
