Diclac-N Topical Gel 30 g Composition Active ingredient: Diclofenac sodium 40 mg/g Description Diclac-N is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) for topical use, containing diclofenac sodium 40 mg/g. It provides local relief of pain, swelling, and inflammation by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis. Suitable for use in muscle and joint pain caused by trauma, strain, arthritis, or inflammation. Properties High concentration of diclofenac: 40 mg/g Penetrates quickly to the inflamed area Effectively relieves pain and swelling Fast-absorbing, non-greasy formulation Suitable for acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions Indications for Use Localized pain and inflammation due to: Soft tissue injuries (bruises, sprains, strains) Tendonitis, bursitis Osteoarthritis Muscle pain, low back pain, lumbago Post-traumatic or post-surgical inflammation Directions for Use Adults and children over 12 years: Apply a thin layer to the affected area 3–4 times daily, massaging gently into the skin. Children under 12 years: Use only after consulting a doctor. Avoid contact with eyes, mucous membranes, and broken skin. Wash hands thoroughly after use. Contraindications Hypersensitivity to diclofenac, other NSAIDs, or any component of the product History of asthma, urticaria, or allergic rhinitis after NSAID use Open wounds, eczema, or skin infections at the application site Third trimester of pregnancy Children under 12 years (unless advised by a doctor) Breastfeeding (when applied to breasts or large skin areas) Precautions Do not apply to damaged or irritated skin Avoid use with occlusive dressings Do not exceed the recommended dose or duration Use with caution in patients with asthma, kidney or liver disease Discontinue if skin rash, irritation, or other signs of hypersensitivity occur Avoid sun exposure on treated areas (risk of photosensitivity) Side Effects Common: skin redness, itching, rash, burning at application site Rare: contact dermatitis, photosensitivity Very rare: allergic reactions such as bronchospasm, angioedema, anaphylaxis Systemic effects may occur if applied excessively or to large areas Pregnancy and Breastfeeding Pregnancy: Contraindicated during the 3rd trimester. Use during the 1st and 2nd trimester only if prescribed by a doctor. Breastfeeding: Not recommended during lactation, especially when applied to large areas or breasts. Storage Conditions Store at temperatures below 25°C. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the tube.
