Mellitofix Met 12.5/500 is a balanced combination of Empagliflozin (12.5 mg) and a lower dose of Metformin (500 mg). This strength is often ideal for patients who require the full cardiovascular and glucose-clearing benefits of Empagliflozin but are more sensitive to Metformin or are just starting combination therapy. Diabetes Management: Primarily used for adults with Type 2 Diabetes. It provides a dual-action approach: helping the kidneys filter out excess glucose while simultaneously improving how the body responds to its own insulin. Usage: Usually taken twice daily with meals. Taking it with food helps significantly reduce potential digestive side effects.
