Martaviva is a combined hormonal contraceptive. It works by preventing ovulation, thickening cervical mucus to block sperm, and altering the uterine lining to prevent implantation. Primary Indications: Used for oral contraception (birth control) and the treatment of moderate acne in women who choose hormonal contraception. Usage: Take one tablet daily at the same time for 21 days, followed by a 7-day break. Note: This is the Egyptian equivalent to the famous contraceptive tablets, Jeanine.
