Microlut contains a low dose of the hormone Levonorgestrel. It prevents pregnancy primarily by thickening the cervical mucus, making it difficult for sperm to reach an egg, and altering the lining of the uterus. Primary Indications: Used for oral contraception (birth control). It is particularly recommended for women who are breastfeeding or those who have a sensitivity or contraindication to estrogen. Usage: Take one tablet daily at the exact same time every day, without any breaks between packs. The 35-tablet pack is designed for continuous use. Note: This is the Egyptian equivalent to the international brand Microlut (used globally under the same name) and is similar in function to other mini-pills like Levonorgestrel-only formulations found in brands like Norgeston.
