Femogesal is a combined hormonal contraceptive. It works by suppressing ovulation, increasing the thickness of cervical mucus to block sperm, and making the uterine lining less receptive to a fertilized egg. Primary Indications: Used for oral contraception (birth control) and can help regulate the menstrual cycle, making periods lighter and less painful. Usage: Take one tablet daily at the same time for 21 days, followed by a 7-day pill-free break. Note: This is the Egyptian equivalent to the well-known international brand Gynera.
