Fluimucil is a popular "phlegm-dissolver." It acts directly on the structure of mucus to liquefy it. It also has strong antioxidant properties that help protect the lungs from damage caused by inflammation or smoking. Primary Indications: Treatment of respiratory conditions with thick mucus, such as Bronchitis, Pneumonia, COPD, and Sinusitis. It is also used as an antidote for Paracetamol (Tylenol) overdose. Usage: Dissolve one tablet in a half-glass of water and drink it immediately. Frequency: Usually once daily (preferably in the evening). Some doctors may increase this to twice daily in severe cases. Important: Drink plenty of water throughout the day while taking this; extra fluids help the medicine thin the mucus even better. Note: This is the original international brand by Zambon.
