Ventocough is a triple-action medication. It acts as a Bronchodilator (to open airways), a Mucolytic (to thin mucus), and an Expectorant (to help cough the mucus out). Active Ingredients (per 5 ml): Salbutamol (1 mg): Relaxes airway muscles to relieve chest tightness. Bromhexine (2 mg): Breaks down the thickness of the phlegm. Guaifenesin (50 mg): Increases fluid in the airways to help "flush" the mucus out. Primary Indications: Chesty coughs associated with Asthma, Bronchitis, and COPD. It is ideal for patients who find it hard to breathe because of heavy phlegm. General Dosage: Adults: 10 ml three times daily. Children (6–12 years): 5 ml three times daily. Children (2–6 years): 2.5 ml three times daily (only under medical supervision). Important: Because this version contains sugar, it is not suitable for diabetic patients. Diabetic patients should use the "Sugar-Free" version of Ventocough instead. Note: This is a popular Egyptian brand by Glenmark.
