Aspocid is primarily used as a "blood thinner" for long-term protection against cardiovascular events. The 75 mg "pediatric" or "infant" strength is the standard dose used by adults for daily heart protection. Primary Indications: Prevention of Heart Attack: For patients with a high risk of cardiovascular disease or those who have already suffered a heart attack. Prevention of Stroke: To reduce the risk of recurrent ischemic strokes or "mini-strokes" (TIAs). Post-Operative Protection: Used after heart surgeries, such as bypass or stent placement, to keep arteries clear. Management of Angina: To help reduce the risk of complications from chronic chest pain. Usage: Usually one tablet daily after a meal. It can be chewed for faster absorption. Important: Do not use in children under 16 due to the risk of Reye's Syndrome. Avoid use if you have an active stomach ulcer or bleeding disorders.
