Omez is a standard treatment for acid-related disorders. By blocking the "pumps" in the stomach lining that release acid, it prevents damage to the esophagus and stomach. Primary Indications: GERD (Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease): To treat heartburn and acid reflux. Gastric and Duodenal Ulcers: To heal sores in the stomach and the first part of the small intestine. H. pylori Eradication: Used alongside antibiotics to kill stomach bacteria that cause ulcers. Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome: To manage rare conditions where the stomach produces extreme amounts of acid. Secondary Indications: Prevention of NSAID-related Ulcers: Protects the stomach for patients taking long-term painkillers like Ibuprofen or Aspirin. Functional Dyspepsia: Provides short-term relief for indigestion and sour stomach. Usage: Usually one capsule daily. It is most effective when taken 30–60 minutes before breakfast. Important: Do not crush or chew. The capsules contain enteric-coated pellets that must reach the intestine intact.
