This strength is often used for the initial treatment of common acid issues or as a maintenance dose after a higher-strength treatment (like the 40 mg version) has finished. Primary Indications: Active Duodenal Ulcer: Short-term treatment (usually 4 weeks) to heal ulcers in the first part of the small intestine. Symptomatic GERD: Treatment of daytime and nighttime heartburn and acid reflux in patients without esophageal damage. Erosive Esophagitis: Short-term healing (4–8 weeks) of acid-related injury to the esophagus. Maintenance Therapy: To maintain healing of the esophagus and prevent symptoms from returning. Secondary Indications (GIT & General): Gastritis: Management of stomach lining inflammation. Indigestion & Bloating: Provides fast neutralization of acid that causes post-meal discomfort. Usage: Usually one capsule daily. It must be taken on an empty stomach, at least one hour before a meal. Important: * Sodium Warning: Contains 1100 mg of Sodium Bicarbonate per capsule.
