Diax is a broad-spectrum intestinal antiseptic. It is designed to kill the bacteria responsible for stomach flu and food poisoning without disturbing the natural balance of your intestinal flora. Primary Indications: Acute Bacterial Diarrhea: Rapid treatment for diarrhea caused by infectious germs. Food Poisoning: Relief from the symptoms of "intoxication diarrhea" after eating contaminated food. Gastroenteritis: Treatment of inflammation in the stomach and intestines. Secondary Indications: Chronic Colitis: Sometimes used as an adjunct treatment for chronic colon inflammation. Traveler's Diarrhea: A common travel companion for preventing and treating "vacation stomach" issues. Usage: Usually one capsule 4 times daily for adults. The treatment course typically lasts 3 to 7 days. Important: * Stay Hydrated: This medication does not replace the need for fluids. Drink plenty of water or ORS (Oral Rehydration Salts) to prevent dehydration.
