Bi-Alcofan is used for intense pain management. It works by blocking the enzymes (COX-1 and COX-2) that produce prostaglandins, the chemicals responsible for pain, fever, and inflammation. Primary Indications: Severe Bone & Joint Pain: Treatment for Rheumatoid Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, and Gout. Spinal & Back Pain: Relief for severe lower back pain, neck pain, and sciatica. Dental Pain: Often used for intense toothaches or post-surgical dental pain. Dysmenorrhea: Effective for severe menstrual cramps (period pain). Secondary Indications: Post-Operative Pain: Management of pain after surgeries or orthopedic procedures. Severe Migraines: Used as a fast-acting relief for intense headaches. Usage: Usually half a tablet to one tablet twice daily (every 12 hours). It is strongly recommended to take it after meals to protect the stomach. Important: * Stomach Warning: High risk of gastric irritation or ulcers if taken on an empty stomach. Heart & Blood Pressure: Can cause fluid retention and increase blood pressure; avoid if you have severe heart failure or high blood pressure.
