Cataflam is a "go-to" medication for inflammatory pain. It starts working within 20–30 minutes to block the production of pain-causing chemicals in the body. Primary Indications: Acute Dental Pain: One of the most common uses for toothaches and post-extraction pain. Menstrual Cramps (Dysmenorrhea): Very effective at reducing the intensity of period pain when taken at the first sign of symptoms. Migraine Attacks: Used to treat the headache and nausea associated with acute migraine. Orthopedic Pain: Relief for back pain, sprains, strains, and joint inflammation (Arthritis). Secondary Indications: ENT Infections: Used as an adjunctive treatment to reduce painful inflammation in the ears, nose, or throat (like tonsillitis). Post-Surgical Pain: To manage swelling and discomfort after minor surgeries. Usage: Usually one tablet (50 mg) 2 to 3 times daily after meals. For migraines or severe period pain, an initial dose of 100 mg may be recommended by a doctor. Important: * Stomach Health: Can cause stomach ulcers or bleeding if used frequently or on an empty stomach. Always take with food. Heart & Blood Pressure: Can increase the risk of heart attack or stroke with long-term use. Avoid if you have heart disease or uncontrolled high blood pressure.
