Intro: Clobutra is a super-potent (Group IV) topical corticosteroid containing Clobetasol Propionate. It is one of the strongest steroids available and is reserved for tough skin conditions that do not respond to milder treatments like Hydrocort or Texacort. Indications: Psoriasis: Treatment of thick, scaly plaques (except widespread cases). Resistant Eczema: Managing severe eczema that hasn't improved with weaker creams. Lichen Planus: Treating itchy, purple, flat-topped bumps on the skin. Discoid Lupus: Managing skin-related autoimmune patches. Severe Dermatitis: Rapidly reducing intense inflammation and itching. How to Use: Application: Apply a very thin layer to the affected area only. Frequency: Use once or twice daily. Duration: Strictly limited to 2 weeks. Do not use more than 50g of the cream per week to avoid systemic side effects. Crucial Rules: No Face/Folds: Never use on the face, groin, or armpits unless specifically ordered by a specialist; it can cause permanent skin thinning (atrophy) very quickly. Do Not Cover: Never wrap or bandage the treated area; this makes the drug dangerously strong.
