Intro: Tears Guard is an ocular lubricant containing Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose (also known as Hypromellose). It is a classic "artificial tear" that works by increasing the viscosity of the eye's natural moisture, creating a protective film that prevents tears from evaporating too quickly. It is often considered a budget-friendly yet effective daily option for mild dryness. Indications: Mild Dry Eye: Relieves irritation caused by a lack of natural tear production. Daily Irritants: Soothes eyes exposed to wind, sun, smoke, or air conditioning. Computer/Screen Use: Reduces fatigue and dryness for office workers and gamers. Artificial Eyes: Can be used as a lubricant for ocular prostheses. Contact Lenses: Safe for use with contact lenses (can be applied while wearing them). How to Use: Dosage: Typically 1 drop in each eye 3 to 4 times daily, or as needed. Application: Tilt your head back, pull down the lower lid, and place the drop in the pocket. Close your eyes for 1 minute and apply gentle pressure to the inner corner of the eye. Hygiene: Do not touch the dropper tip to any surface or your eye to keep the bottle sterile. Crucial Rules: Shelf Life: Discard the bottle 30 days after first opening. Wait Time: If using other eye medications, wait at least 5–10 minutes before applying Tears Guard.
