Prisoline – 15ml Eye & Nasal Drops

Available at Pharmaegy Pharmacy. Use as directed by your doctor.

Intro: Prisoline is a dual-action decongestant and antihistamine. It contains Naphazoline Hydrochloride (0.05%) to shrink swollen blood vessels (reducing redness) and Chlorpheniramine Maleate (0.05%) to block histamines (reducing itching and watering). It is a "rescue" drop meant for quick relief of allergy symptoms, but it is not a long-term treatment. Indications: Eye Allergy: Rapidly relieves itching, redness, and tearing caused by pollen, dust, or pet dander. Environmental Redness: Clears red eyes caused by smoke, smog, or swimming pool chlorine. Nasal Congestion: Can also be used as nasal drops to relieve a stuffy or runny nose during a cold or hay fever. How to Use: For Eyes: Instill 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) up to 4 times daily. For Nose: Instill 2 drops in each nostril 3 to 4 times daily. Crucial Rules: The 5-Day Rule: Do not use for more than 5 consecutive days. Prolonged use causes "rebound congestion," where your eyes become even redder or your nose more stuffed once you stop the drops. Narrow-Angle Glaucoma: Do not use this product if you have or are at risk for narrow-angle glaucoma, as it can dangerously increase eye pressure. Contact Lenses: Remove lenses before use and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting. Medical Caution: Consult a doctor if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, or diabetes before use. Children: Not recommended for children under 6 years old without medical advice. Generic International Brands: Naphcon-A, Opcon-A, Visine-A, Nostamine (Local alternative).
