Nostamine – 15ml Eye & Nasal Drops

Available at Pharmaegy Pharmacy. Use as directed by your doctor.

Intro: Nostamine is a highly effective dual-action formula produced by EIPICO. It acts as both a decongestant and an antihistamine. It contains Naphazoline Hydrochloride (0.05%), which narrows blood vessels to reduce swelling and redness, and Chlorpheniramine Maleate (0.05%), which blocks the effects of histamine to stop itching and watering. Indications: Ocular Allergy: Rapidly treats red, itchy, and watery eyes caused by hay fever, dust, or pet dander. Spring Catarrh: Effective for seasonal allergic conjunctivitis. Nasal Congestion: Relieves a stuffy or runny nose, rhinitis, and sinusitis symptoms. Nasal Hemorrhage: Sometimes used under medical supervision to help stop minor nosebleeds due to its vasoconstrictor (vessel-shrinking) properties. How to Use: For Eyes: Instill 1 or 2 drops in the affected eye(s) every 3 to 6 hours (up to 4 times daily). For Nose: Instill 2 drops in each nostril 4 times daily. Crucial Rules: The 5-Day Limit: Do not use for more than 3-5 consecutive days. Extended use leads to "rebound congestion," making the redness or nasal stuffiness return much worse than before. Narrow-Angle Glaucoma: Strictly contraindicated for people with this condition as it can cause a dangerous spike in eye pressure. Contact Lenses: Remove lenses before use; wait at least 15 minutes before putting them back in. Medical Conditions: Use with extreme caution if you have high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid issues, or diabetes. Infants/Children: Not for use in children under 6 years old without direct medical advice. Accidental swallowing in children can be dangerous. Generic International Brands: Naphcon-A, Opcon-A, Visine-A, Prisoline (Local alternative).
