Intro: Closol Spray is a highly effective, broad-spectrum antifungal treatment produced by European Egyptian Pharmaceutical Industries (EEPI). Its active ingredient is Clotrimazole (10mg/ml). This spray is particularly popular for treating fungal infections on large or hairy areas of the body where creams might be difficult to apply. It works by inhibiting the growth of fungi and yeasts, effectively clearing the infection and its symptoms. Indications: Tinea Infections: Including athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and ringworm (tinea corporis). Pityriasis Versicolor: A fungal infection that causes small discolored patches on the skin. Skin Candidiasis: Fungal infections caused by yeast, often appearing in skin folds. Fungal Nail Infections: Sometimes used as a supplementary treatment for fungal growth around or under the nails. How to Use: Dosage: Spray a sufficient amount to cover the affected area and the surrounding skin 2 to 3 times daily. Preparation: Clean and thoroughly dry the area before application (especially between toes). Technique: Hold the bottle about 15cm away from the skin. Crucial Duration: Continue using it for at least 2 weeks even if the symptoms disappear, to ensure the fungus is completely gone and won't return. Crucial Rules: External Use Only: Do not spray near the eyes, mouth, or inside the nose. Foot Care: If treating athlete’s foot, ensure you spray your socks and the inside of your shoes occasionally to prevent reinfection. Side Effects: Generally safe, but some may feel a temporary stinging, itching, or redness. If severe blistering occurs, stop use immediately. Pregnancy: Low absorption makes it relatively safe, but consult a doctor if you are in your first trimester.
