Intro: Terramycin Eye Ointment is a widely trusted antibiotic treatment produced by Pfizer. It contains a dual-action formula of Oxytetracycline and Polymyxin B. Together, these two antibiotics fight a broad spectrum of bacteria, making it highly effective for treating surface-level eye infections and preventing infections after minor eye injuries or surgeries. Indications: Bacterial Conjunctivitis: Treats "pink eye" and redness caused by bacterial infections. Blepharitis: Inflammation and infection of the eyelids. Corneal Ulcers: Helps treat and protect open sores on the surface of the eye. Post-Surgery Care: Used to prevent bacterial growth after eye operations. Veterinary Use: Frequently used for eye infections in pets (cats, dogs, and horses). How to Use: Dosage: Apply a small amount (about 1 cm) into the lower eyelid 2 to 4 times daily. Application: Pull down the lower lid gently and squeeze the ointment into the gap. Close your eye for a minute to let it spread. Cleanliness: Do not touch the tip of the tube to your eye, fingers, or any surface. This keeps the medicine sterile and prevents spreading the infection.
